Correction in 2nd sentence. Great article. Web 2.0 types of communication are generally more responsive and interactive and because of that "they are" more efficient in communicating than pre-Web 2.0 technologies.

Many PMO's have turned to SharePoint to help manage their projects, but in order to have a fully functioning SharePoint environment lots of customization is necessary to work with ones project management process within their organization.
