Hi all! I am from Australia but managing global projects and dealing with people from Asia, America and Europe. Yes, there are significant cultural differences in managing projects across borders. In fact, different regions using different project management methodologies or approaches which add into the complication. PMBOK is de facto in America, PRINCE2 for UK and Europe, P2M in Japan, Australia has its own national PM competency etc. There are diversified expectations from the project stakeholders in different part of the worlds as well. Understand the project management approaches, cultural differences, expectations or even the languages will be useful in managing projects across borders.

Hi all,
I'm an offshore construction superintended my currently employed by Bluewater Energy Services.
As an offshore construction superintendent I’m responsible for the management (seen from an offshore perspective) of all aspects involved with the save and efficient execution of repairs, shutdowns and modifications on those to Bluewater assigned FPSO’s anywhere in the world.
